My first BBQ and wow the quality is fantastic. It looks good and cooks very good. Love love love it
A little late to the party reviewing this, but this is our 3rd summer now of having this bbq and it's just perfect. We can't store it inside so sits outside all winter and after a good clean, some white vinager and a spray of oil it comes up as good as new. We have the cast iron grills and I really don't think I could cook with another bbq ever again just amazing.
Very happy with the barbecue. Started putting it together at 11am and was eating delicious grilled drumsticks at 2:30pm :) So far so good - quality design and components and easy to use. The adjustable burner height is really useful and gives great control over cooking temperature... looking forward to trying out the smoker.
Like you are probably doing right now- I searched through all the reviews to see if this was worth the purchase. It is. I have bought more expensive bbqs that were flimsy and didn't last long. This is £100 less and perfect for all bbqs, smoking and cooking indirectly. It has easy access to top charcoals up, and a nice winding lever to change the proximity if the coals to the food. I love it. It's neat, compact, the cover fits well. You can add a couple of bugers for a 2 person meal or smoke a big brisket and cater for 8. It's a worthwhile purchase. If I had any criticisms, it would be that the instructions could be improved. (It seems that they've upgraded a few bits, but not adjusted the instructions, so I spent a while looking for a piece that has actually been welded on to improve stability. Construction takes quite some time (anyone saying 40 mins is a genius or a liar). Allow some time and space to assemble, but bear in mind, the reason you a getting a superior quality bbq, for such a good price is that you have to do some of the work to put it together. In short, forget the one and two star reviews. It's amazing.
